Job Description

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Home Care Nurse to provide exceptional in-home nursing care to patients in Taylor, MI and the surrounding areas. This role involves delivering personalized care in a supportive environment to help patients maintain their health and independence in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care. Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing care and health assessments to patients in their homes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team promptly.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and post-care instructions.

Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
  • Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred, especially in home health or related fields.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in Taylor, MI and surrounding areas.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
