Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet members and guests as they enter and sign the registration tablet, greet them with a welcome and your name.
• Check in with supervisor. Upon arrival at the pool, you must check in with with supervisor on duty. At this time you will consult the daily maintenance list to prepare the pool.
• Follow lifeguard rotation positions assigned.
• Follow proper procedures for emergencies or relief.
• Maintain cleaning duties of the shower facilities and office.
• Perform daily check out list.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Lifeguard certification
• CPR/First Aid certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Seeing
• Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with coworkers
• Standing/Walking
• Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling
• Lifting/Pulling/Pushing
• Fingering/Grasping/Feeling
