MalaceHR is looking for Electricians to join our Electrical Solutions team in Greensboro, NC. The Electrician is responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks, including installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing electrical systems.

Schedule typically ​​​8a-5pm role (with an hour lunch), some weeks may require a modified schedule or occasional weekend

$36-$42.00/hour
 
Essential Functions:

• Inspect, repair, install, modify and maintain electrical systems, circuits and equipment.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Advises management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Reads, interprets, and works from diagrams, blueprints, sketches, repair manuals, and schematics.
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of National Electrical Codes.
• Possesses knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in electrical trade.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in elevated environments.
• This includes tasks that may require being at different heights for extended periods.
• Ladder Climbing: Regular climbing of ladders is a critical part of this position.
• The candidate must be capable of safely ascending and descending ladders of various sizes and types.
• This involves maneuvering scissor lifts, boom lifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 
Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma / GED
• 3-5 years commercial or industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Skill in using hand and power tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the US
