Job Description

Salary: $179,400 - 225,100 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in application development (Internship experience does not count)
• At least 2 years of experience with big data technologies
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• Preferred: 7+ years of application development experience including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
• Preferred: 4+ years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• Preferred: 4+ years of experience with distributed data/computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL)
• Preferred: 4+ years of experience working on real-time data and streaming applications
• Preferred: 4+ years of experience with NoSQL implementations (Mongo, Cassandra)
• Preferred: 4+ years of experience with data warehousing (Redshift or Snowflake)
• Preferred: 4+ years of UNIX/Linux experience including basic commands and shell scripting
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience utilizing Agile engineering practices

• Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions
• Work alongside developers experienced in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems
• Utilize programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, and manage Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases and Cloud-based data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake
• Stay updated on tech trends, experiment with new technologies, engage in internal and external tech communities, and mentor fellow engineers
• Partner with digital product managers to deliver effective cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences and empower financial well-being for millions of Americans
• Conduct unit tests and reviews with team members to ensure your code is well-structured, elegantly written, and optimized for performance
