Job Description

Join the team at Holiday Inn Boston Cambridge Area as a Houseperson, where you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the overall guest experience by supporting our housekeeping department in various tasks throughout the hotel. Responsibilities

• Assist housekeeping staff by delivering linens, supplies, and amenities to guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and utility rooms.
• Remove trash and recycling from guest rooms and public spaces promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure public corridors, stairwells, and service areas are free of debris and hazards.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or security concerns to management in a timely manner.
• Assist with set-up and breakdown of meeting and event rooms as needed.
• Support team members and provide excellent customer service to guests and staff.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including bedding and cleaning supplies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Full-time and Part-time
