Our client, a leader in interconnect solutions, is looking for an Automation Technician (night shift). Key qualifications include experience with electronic assembly (schematics, PCB loading, and mechanical assembly) as well as material handling, automation, and/or robotics equipment. A high school diploma or relevant experience is required.

responsibilities:
- System Maintenance & Calibration: Perform regular preventative maintenance, scheduled calibrations, and re-qualifications on complex automated, robotic, and process support equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Advanced Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose, isolate, and repair malfunctions across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, fixing component parts and circuitry in the most cost-effective manner.
- Technical Documentation & Analysis: Read and interpret intricate electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams while analyzing and implementing corrective action reports and process tracking mechanisms.
- Engineering Collaboration: Assist engineers and technicians with equipment installation/removal, software and hardware maintenance, and the development of test, calibration, and evaluation plans.
- System Qualification & Development: Collaborate with the automation team during the system qualification process and help design the hardware and software solutions required for automation specifications.
