Job Description

Title: Audio Visual Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced  CLEARED  Aud io-Visual Systems Engineer to work on site as part of a team to oversee and sustain post-wide AVL-VC systems for classrooms, conference rooms, and senior leadership spaces. The candidate will troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize AV and videoconferencing systems, provide user training, support major events, and ensure all systems run flawlessly. This role will be responsible for performing this effort on site reporting directly to Army customer and local Program Manager.

Job Location:  Onsite - F t. Sill, OK

Responsibilities:
The candidate will manage and sustains post-wide AVL-VC systems for ~425 classrooms, conference rooms, and senior leadership spaces. Performs system configuration, troubleshooting, user training, and operational support for events. Develops sustainment plans, conducts site surveys, and ensures timely issue resolution and reporting to the COR.
Required Experience
  • Current active Secret Clearance
  • Minimum 10 years of verifiable experience with DSP systems, digital projection/display, and control systems equipment.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of AVL-VC systems, including development, installation, operation, and sustainment.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot DSP systems, digital projection/display, and control equipment.
  • Read and interpret architectural plans and schematic drawings for proper system integration.
  • Maintain system functionality and ensure all equipment meets operational standards.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and sustaining AVL-VC systems.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including walking, standing, kneeling, squatting, bending, lifting, and pushing; excellent visual acuity and hearing.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting equipment up to 50 lbs., working at heights, and operating in tight or dimly lit spaces.
  • Current InfoComm International – Certified Technology Specialist-General (CTS) Certification required.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in technology-focused environments and prior involvement with large-scale AVL-VC system projects is desirable. BA/BS in a technology-related field is desired
Education / Certifications
  • Possession of a current InfoComm International – Certified Technology Specialist-General (CTS) Certification
Other Qualifications
  • Must be US Citizen
  • Possess clear and precise oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to meet requirements to work on a military installation, including having a valid state driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes
  • Demonstrate high standards of quality and accuracy
  • Be in attendance and punctual as scheduled
  • Candidate must be able to travel as required
