Job Description:

We are seeking the right candidate to lead our cellar team in the production of a bevy of well-regarded Central Coast wines, including focuses on bright whites, lesser-known varieties and old vine vineyards. The successful candidate will manage day to day winemaking operations in conjunction with the winemaker, including crush, cellar tasks, organization and inventory, bottling and dry goods.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated the following:
•  Grace under pressure
•  Exceptional cellar practices, attention to detail and time management.
•  Strong organizations skills, leadership and personnel management
•  A developed palate, strong fermentation management and a working knowledge of wine flaws, wine chemistry and related microbiology
•  Strong communication and logistics management skills
The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:
•  5+ commercial harvests
•  2+ years working complete years in a quality commercial winery
•  Ability to lift 40 lbs, stand on concrete for extended periods of time and work long hours during the harvest season.
•  Proficient on a forklift.
•  Basic winery laboratory proficiency
•  Basic machinery and electronics repair and maintenance knowledge
•  Experience and skill with winery management software, spreadsheets and word processing
