Position Summary
Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday (Full-Time)
Must be available to work weekends, especially Sundays
We are seeking a polished, engaging, and style-driven Retail Stylist & Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves fashion, enjoys building relationships with clients, and has a natural ability to create complete, personalized looks.
You will play a key role in delivering a warm, elevated shopping experience while driving sales through thoughtful styling and product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional, personalized customer service
Style clients by creating complete looks with clothing and accessories
Build relationships with repeat customers and develop a loyal clientele
Drive sales through product knowledge, storytelling, and styling suggestions
Maintain a visually appealing and well-merchandised sales floor
Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory management
Support in-store events and promotions
Uphold the Dovecote brand aesthetic and Fearrington standard of hospitality
Qualifications
Previous retail or fashion experience preferred
Strong sense of personal style and understanding of current trends
Passion for helping others feel confident and well-dressed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Must be reliable and available to work weekends, especially Sundays
